Very good.

That's a pretty damn good classical song you've got there. Just a few things though that I found bothersome. First, the background orchestra in the beginning (strings I thinks, but I cant' really tell : P ), the way it starts fades out then fades in is cool for a little bit, but then gets kind of annoying. I want to hear the entire orchestra play THROUGH the notes, not constantly drop out at the beginning of each measure. Still, an amazing piece you've created. And I like the way it loops, will work perfectly in a game. Good job = D

Kodakami responds:

Thank you very much.

Regarding the dropping in volume at the beginning of every measure, I don't know how to stop it from doing that. I think it's just my free soundfont's quality. If I ever figure out how to fix it, I'll redo it.

Thanks for the tip and the response/score.

Not bad

But waaaaay too repetitive. I loved all the sounds and melodies you used, but you used them over and over again. Also, the bassdrum beat is fine, but the sound is overwhelming. If you turned it down, it would balance out with the rest of the song much better. And I wouldn't have put this under dance. It's more Ambient. But still a good song. I did, in fact, enjoy it : P
And yes, those commentary boxes ARE amazing = D

Cdragon94 responds:

Yeh, it's a bit too repetitive, and I'm a hippocrit for making a repetitive song because I hate that all electronic songs I hear are so repetitive. Any yeh the bassdrum beat... I never think about turning down things, I just keep them at max. Sometimes I do, but rarely.

I don't neccesarily agree with the more ambient thing though...

Review appreciated :)

I'm the SCATMAN!

Man, I loved that guy. He was so inspirational, had such great music. I thought this song was farily good. It's repetitive, but then again, once you put lyrics in it it won't be repetitive anymore. And if you could put scating in here, that would be awsome. Hell, I would even be up for recording some scat for this song with a friend of mine. But either way, good job. Keep up the god wrk = D

Mackity responds:

Mannn thank GOD I was nervous about this being that it was my first beat I was afraid it wouldn't be good. Yo if you scat good I'd LOVE to put that in a track I do with this beat lol if you're not shy and you don't mind.. send me a good sample of some scatting and tell me how you want it on the beat haha thanks again man :p

Thanks :D

Awsome.

The guitar sound that came it at 1:04 was a little abrupt. It fit well once more of the other guitar sounds came back in, for that short time, it was just a little to lound, especialy after preceding that awsome and quiet bass guitar intro. And you faded it out >: ( Besides that, an excelent ambient rock song. I especially like how in the begining it is hard to find the beat. Once again, you rock.

Anima-Theory responds:

You really hate "fade out's" don't you :D

Yes.

I don't like hip-hop.
At all.
But I liked this.
A lot.
Get someone else to sing the chorus, just like lucid08 said, but besides that, excelent song and excelent lyrics.

poopsmcgee823 responds:

it's a KRS-1 beat, which is real hip-hop, but thanks for the positive feedback, means a lot since your not a fan of the genre, means i'm doing something right lol rofl tofl dofl

Pretty good.

The giutar was ludicrously loud, though. Turn that dwon, and you'll be much better off. Also, i noticed some distortion in the bass at odd intervals. I think all you have to do is rebalance all your sounds; lower the lead quitar and make a quite part in the song to give your ears a break. Overall though, not bad. Five from me.

nightsurfermusic responds:

Thanks for the review, I made it softer :)

Awsome!

Loved the drums, the melodies, everything :D Not much else to say, the song was flawless in my opinion! Five, ten, and download from me : P

Gillenium responds:

Glad you enjoyed! The melody for this one was sitting on the shelf for quite a while. I never really thought it would end up being a complete song, but inspiration struck! Thanks for the review.

I still play that game!

I really liked this version! Had a constant anxious feel the entire time. But just a little repetitive. If you tried switching out the main synth for some other sound and rythm, then adding the original main synth back in later on, it wil be a good quick way to fix the repetitiveness of the song.
Now i'm going to go play the game : )

kairi6384 responds:

Lol Kick bowsers ass and thanks for listening

Nice and smooth,

just the way an ambient song should be. Very good job on this!

Kilkashi responds:

I love ambience. Very soothing and stimulates the imagination. I guess that's why I am so good at it. :P
