Review, review, review...

Well, I'll start off with a pro-con list, and try to equal it to one of yours= )

Pro's:
No quarter-note kicks.
The drums sound freakin' sweet. I actually play them on the drumset at school.
You have lyrics.
You efectively used the quitar sounds on FL.
The intro is amazing.
Basically, I love the way it sounds life-like. The drums, the singing, the quitars, the entire song is doable for a band to actually play live.

Cons:
The singing. It's, well, not to offend anyone, but it's bad. The more I listen to the song, the less I actually listen to the singing. If you could just have that person sing better, or find a different singer, it would make the entire thing much better to listen to.
At 3:29, a wierd static thing starts, and is really distracting, even though it's at the end of the song. It sounds like something with the quitar, but I don't have near enough experience at FL to even know what the actuall problem is.

Overall, this song is amazing. You've successfully combined rock and trance and have created... rance. Yeah.
And now to the next song, awaaaaaaayyyyy.....!

Well, I've listened to most of your stuff for a while now, just havn't started reviewing until a little while ago. To me, nothing is wrong with this song.
Nothing.
It sounds flawless, all the instruments are amazing, and best of all, no quarter-note kicks =D
I've always thought this one was your best. It's even become our school's drumline's unoficial song!

Very melodic.

I love the sliding bass, it adds such great depth to the music. Everything that needs to be said else has been said by SBB. Good job!

Very nice composition.

The only thing I have to say is that you should have allowed the strings n the background more of a front line during the more moving parts of the song, instead of just increasing the volume of the piano. Besides that. great song. Download, five, and free publicity from me. And an amazing piano piece, by the way.

[The Passive Theory (Donk)]

Not bad...

but there's never really a "wow" moment in the entire song. All the melodies sounded great, but it needs something just a little extra to give it a thick presence and drive. Also, the begining pattern is repeated about 3 to many times. Everything's all there, just add a little more and this will be pretty kick-ass

The bass actually has bass on my computer, and has made the song excelent! I still lvoe you, you sexy bitch! It's mad-cracks, yo!

[Bigger on the Inside]

So...

Once again, you have delivered. It has everything. Great balance, a smooth, relaxing melodies, and my favorite thing of all, no damn quarter-note kicks. I honestly can't believe this song isn't more popular. And I know I'm going to sound like a hypocrite, but because of the genre, and since the song ended before it actualy ended, then the fade out would have worked perfectly here, if you had faded out the drums. Because all you are left with is the sound of the drums at the end, which is alright, but it's not really the last thing I want to hear, at least not that loud. This is the only thing I could find "wrong", but it sounds great anyways. Still in my top three favorite artist list.

Could you review, well, all of my stuff? I only have three songs, Astral Eclipse, The Deep, and Western Gun. It's all pretty experimantal, especially the last one, and I realy need some good old fasioned critisicm to help me get better. I would really appreciate it : )

And boredom is the best time to write music.

Pretty good...

I personally like the the fade in, but the volume is randomly lowered at :29. It comes back in later on, and if this is supposed to be on purpose, it doesn't work. If it's just a mistake, then oh well. I also like the way you change up the quarter-note kicks, but it would be cool to not have quarter note kicks at all, but that's just my opinion. Still sounds good, though. But try to keep the song on the shorter side, because if you draw it out much it will get repetitive and suck. The song as it is now just doesn't have enough to keep it going for more than 2:30 minutes. But I could bet my pants that you will make this turn out great, so you can count on a future 5, download, and free publicity at my school from me.

The volume doesnt drop, I take out the main bass and the kick.

MMMMM quarter note kicks are my life <3 soz but they'll probably be there... I was going to try and introduce some new melodies and such in the final version, so it wont be repetitve.

Lacking...

The composition was excelent, the horns really nailed the epic feeling. But the drums, or lack thereof, sucked major ass. You need drums that come in halfway through the piece and really haul balls. And make sure you don' t keep that wierd kick drum pattern. Or that kick drum sound. It's wrong. Just majorly beef up the drums, and you'll have an amazing song.
